I have a brand new lettering design to show you today yay! Since many of you like my designs related to writers, I decided to do one more. This time I choose the quote:

“Writing is the only thing that when I do it, I don’t feel I should be doing something else.”

― Gloria Steinem

Personally I don’t like to write very much, it’s not my best skill! 😂 But I thought many of you could find this quote relatable, so I did this design with summery colors, fresh plants, a ink pot and a writing pen.

No mourners no funerals (BTS)

Hello book lovers! ❤

Today I bring you a different design than I usually do, I’m saying this for two reasons: first it’s a design inspired by a quote from a book that I haven’t read yet, normally my artwork is inspired by books that I’ve read and enjoyed (Except where I choose a quote about books in general). The second reason is that in this design I used dark colors! Grey and black aren’t my favorite choice for my works but this time I had to use it because of the book theme.

So for those who aren’t familiar with this famous quote is from Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, a YA fantasy novel. This book is very popular on YA readers community so since it has so many fans I wanted to give them something they love! So I decided to do something different than I usually do and out of my comfort zone.

For this design I wanted to do some gothic lettering than remind something epic, I haven’t done gothic lettering in a while but I loved the final result! For the colors and elements of it, I was inspired by the book cover (since I don’t know much about the book itself I based on what I know!)

I used my sketchbook and iPad pro for the creation of this design, and finished it up with Adobe Photoshop.
